Navy Drone? Webb City, Missouri Photos
Uh...what is this? Posted at the MUFON CMS. Looks familiar to the caravan near Dallas, TX a few years ago and could very well be a military drone...but here is the unedited report.

Description:
I live in Webb City, Missouri. Last night on December 13th, 2011, I noticed police lights out my window. I went to the front porch to get a better look. There was a flat bed truck with a very large craft on the bed. It was entirely shrinkwrapped so that you couldn't see what was underneath. There were approximately 10-12 highway patrol in the back and the front of this truck blocking off the road. The news that evening stated that it was a drone for the Navy. I am very familiar with all of our military drones and this craft looks like nothing that is of public knowledge. It had no wings, like all of our drones do. It was shaped just like a disc, and was stablized with bars that were also shrink wrapped so it would stay on the truck. In my opinion, who ever issued the statement made a mistake. Because saying that it is a drone, ackknowledges that it flies and to my knowledge our military has no craft like this that flies. I have 3 pictures of the craft, from various angles.

No, it's not a UFO
A U.S. Navy drone making its way through the Four States has prompted calls to our station about a "UFO" sighting. One reluctant caller simply said "it must be a movie prop".
Actually, it's a Northrop Grumman X-47B naval unmanned drone and it's en route to a naval air station in Maryland. When we spoke with officials the drone was under a tarp and on a trailer near Asbury, Missouri.
The drone is a tailless, autonomous, unmanned aircraft developed by the U.S. Unmanned Combat Air System Demonstration program. This is a demonstration program only, with the drone being tested for technical issues.
The drone is being designed to operate from an aircraft carrier at sea. - koamtv

1 Comments:
The proliferation of military drones (which I have no doubt are flying in US skies as well as overseas) is very likely responsible for a large percentage of current UFO reports.
We now have so much bizarre looking military/intelligence hardware in the air, it's hard to take any UFO report very seriously these days.
