Twenty-Three Years Of Constant Fear

The following email was forwarded to me last evening by a woman in eastern Kentucky. If any of the readers can offer comments I am sure that she would appreciate your thoughts:

In October 1988 a friend and I had an astonishing UFO sighting and encounter. We were both in our sophomore year of high school. I will have about that incident later in my story but first I want to relate other experiences.

Two years later strange things started to happen to me. On my 18th birthday I went to bed about 11:30 pm...all I remember was laying down. Sometime around 3 am I woke up in the backyard freezing and absolutely terrified. What I don't understand is if I was sleep walking why didn't my parents wake up? I know my mom should have because she has always been a very light sleeper. After the incident I couldn't sleep at all for the next 3 nights.

In November 1994 I was living alone in a house that a friend's grandmother had rented to me. One night I was laying on the couch watching television...after the program I rolled over and went to sleep. Not long after I was awaken by very intense bright white lights. At first I thought someone had pulled into my driveway and I started to get up to see who it was. I thought it might have been a friend of mine who lived right up the road, because he had come to the house that late on a number of occasions because he worked the 2nd shift. As I was starting to get out of bed to see who it was an overwhelming terror came over me. I laid back down and pulled the covers over my head...that's all I remember until the next morning when I woke up with my feet on the back of the couch and my head and body on the floor with my shirt on the wrong side out. I had a similar experience in 1996 at a different house in a different part of the country.

Now, it's happened again. Early this morning at around 5 am (June 23rd, 2011) I woke and swear I saw 3 small figures standing next to the bed. It was pitch black because the power had gone off. I immediately rolled back over and put the covers over my head and thought to myself "I didn't see that...I don't want to see that". After a few minutes and without taking the covers off of my head I reached over on the night stand and got my flashlight, raised up out of bed and simultaneously turn on the flashlight. There was nothing there. I was terrified because it felt like someone was in the bedroom with me even though I could not see anything. Oddly enough as soon as I clicked on the flashlight the power came back on immediately afterwards. I'm not claiming that I have been abducted but if I was I simply don't want to know the details.

I'm overly concerned that these experiences will continue and that I will eventually become aware that an abduction is occurring. I have never received any communication and I cannot find any marks on my body. The only symptoms I have are insomnia for several days and loss of appetite...but I don't get tired or sleepy. I have noticed that some items in the house are moved around and, in fact, a few things have gone missing including a perfume bottle, a hair brush and a blanket.

To be honest with you, my real concern centers around my father and the UFO incident in October 1988. The night I had the sighting and encounter, my father went missing...he has never been seen or heard from again. He had previously claimed that he has been abducted by extraterrestrials and that these beings performed experiments on him. The encounter my friend and I had was very scary and confusing. We have never been able to talk about to each other even though we are still close. I have an awful feeling something may happen to me and that I may actually find out what became of my father. Can someone possibly give me sound advice? I have seen psychiatrists and psychologists for almost 15 years now....no one has been able to alleviate my fear.

If you can post my email, I would be grateful. I look forward to reading comments.

I'm really sorry, Nancy. It seems you are really living in constant fear, not knowing what is happening. My advice for you is to buy a couple of video surveillance or security cameras, with sound, and fix them in your bedroom or any other place around the house where you think you might capture what is going on. That's what I'd do. Good luck.

I've had similar experiences, have had them for a long time too. The fear is what grips you. It's hard explaining to someone that you don't like being alone. That you have to have the blinds drawn because you're terrified that something will be out there looking in. Or checking the shower curtain because something just might be on the other side. When I was younger, I would wake up with my shirts inside out or backwards, with my bra ripped in front. Or I would go to bed clothed, and find my underwear was gone. I had an incident where I knew I was awake. It was 2 am, and I woke from a sound sleep. Something flew over the house, lighting up the night sky. I was so terrified because I knew that was no plane. After it flew by, there was tapping on the glass. I don't remember anything after that. I can commiserate with you. I have snips and pieces that come back. For a long time I felt that I was going crazy. It was when I woke up with the finger prints on my arm, and the bruising on my thigh that did it. I hope I'm never lucid when it happens. I'm scared to sleep alone, I can't look out windows, I don't drive by myself, and every night I stay up as late as I can to delay the inevitable. Nothing stops them. They come back every couple years. Stay for a couple months, then I'm left alone. Cyle repeats over and over. I'm sorry about your dad. Have they come across as threatening? If they have, you'll know. The terror will be there, but so will the warning. They do not hide that they will hurt you if you don't follow instructions. I know that from the bits and pieces of the memories.

Hi Nancy,

three things: 1st-You're not alone. 2nd-You're being taken against your will. You can evoke your will and say "NO" or "Eff off" etc. and 3rd- you can summon a protector, one who made the promise many many years ago to appear when summoned to protect those in trouble. His name is Lotus Born and he is a being of light. Saying his name, Padma(lotus)Sambhava(born) will alert him to the fact that you need his help. Many beings such as this have taken a vwo to help others especially in such situations. Its most important to remember that you can say no and reclaim your right. Look on the web there are many practices around which will explain in detail how to create mental states and so on that are protective. Any questions leave me a message at my blog site. Best wishes.

Nancy, What happened to your father is something you can investigate. Cold cases can be looked into by law enforcement. Don't assume that he necessarily was taken away forever by aliens.
There may have been other factors in his personal life that caused him to suddenly leave.

My paternal grandfather left his wife and six children. He was presumed dead, because he was a violent alcoholic and a merchant marine seaman. It wasn't until Ancestry dot com came on the scene when family members found that he left from Boston MA to L.A. and never looked back -- living another life with a new wife (bigamy) and children.

As for what you're going through, I know the abject horror and terror and paranoia. It's exhausting to the mind/body/spirit.
It subsides significantly (for me at least) when you go through menopause. I don't know why, but it does.

I'd also recommend you buy a copy of longtime ufo/abduction researcher Ann Druffel's book - 'How to Defend Yourself Against Alien Abduction'. She presents case studies who've used their own rightous anger and come from varied religious, spiritual and non-religious backgrounds. It's a book that can be very helpful.
