Statement with video: Filmed in Devon England. 5th March 2011
Ok, there are already a lot of rumours floating around about this clip, and unfortunately most of you wouldnt know real if it hit u in the face.
1. filmed by a 72 year old farmer friend of mine (next time I will ask him to say a few words for u all so as to make it a little more realistic)
2. WIND. u all know what it sounds like when u get a light oncoming breeze into the mic on your phone. sorry if you believe that this is not right in any way. it only goes to show you are wrong.
People create their own stories according to how it should be to them. and if it doesnt fit in with your idea, You wont accept it either way. Some of you really are convinced that you think you KNOW. If you were in my shoes, you would see you didnt KNOW after all. The only people who know, are the ones involved.
Here's a very important point i feel i should make. the only way anyone will believe anything, is if they experience it themselves. until then, it will always be a no go.
NOTE: The person who posted this clip states that the footage was shot by an elderly man out walking with his dog. If it is CGI, it has been altered very well. The movement behind trees is difficult from what I am told, but not impossible. The screen captures, IMO, seem to validate the witness' claims...especially when examining at different light levels during the vertical ascent. Your opinion...Lon

The light levels and all are awesome, but the ship itself looks an awful lot like one of the images I myself use in a lot of collages, which isn't to say it's not real, but if you want to insert a tiny moving jpeg of a UFO, that image would be the one I'd use! (see it here)
I'm not sure about this one. If it is fake it is very well done. But there are a few things that seem off to me..
First of all, the camera used. I'll give the elderly gentleman the benefit of the doubt and assume that he goes strolling with a very camera with equally nice video capabilities. But why exactly did he have a tri-pod with him? That was filmed using a tri-pod, and from the height it was filmed at it was a full size one too, not one of the small ultra portable models. It seems odd he'd have that. Most amateur photographers don't carry those around casually.
Secondly, the supposed UFO looks very... Hyper saturated I guess is the term I'd use. It just looks so bright and sharp. It doesn't feel right.
But who am I to say what a UFO should look like. It's really the film quality and the issue over the full sized tri-pod that have me second guessing it.
Also... The statement along with the video. It doesn't seem sincere. I cannot understand what he's trying to get at with the wind. Yes. We hear wind... So?
I do CG for a living and here's my take:
I think it is fake and a good one. Here's why I think it is fake:
Yes it is hard to make it move behind trees like that. Doesnt it jump out at you that it is so crisp along with the trees it is behind? I believe the trees are rendered along with the craft and the whole set is super-imposed on the background. You'll notice that the trees also have a sharpness to them compared to the surrounding trees. Other trees have almost a brown haze of small twigs blurring out everything around them-- except the exact bunch of trees the UFO slides behind.
I remember the Caribbean UFO video and saying it was flawless-- that if it was a fake, the palm trees would have to be fake due to the way the lights worked. Sure enough that was the case. That is also the case this time.
