I received the following email from Huseyin in Turkey on Sunday, December 5th. I needed to clean up some of the broken English:
Dear Sir - I write to you after witnessing a creature near my home in Ahlat, Turkey on the 26th of September this year. My friends and I were taking a day long boat ride on Van Golu (Lake Van). Near east Akdamar Island we noticed a violent boil on the surface. When we got closer, I saw a large eel-like creature with a high long fin across the back. I attempted to take a photograph but the creature dove into the darkness. Since I was so close to the creature I was able to get a very reliable description - about 20 meters long, mottled brown with a high ray or fin that extended across the entire back. I got a glimpse of the head which had round eyes that were front set, not like that of a fish, with a pair of ears or flaps.
I presented the description to a biologist and government specialist the following week but was told that I most likely saw a sturgeon or another uncommon species of fish. This is not what I witnessed. I sent an email to 2 other crypto organizations but neither responded. My friend recommended you. What is your opinion of my sighting? I wrote back to Huseyin. His reply didn't offer much more information other than there had been reports of a similar creature in the past and a more recent sighting a few weeks ago near another island on the lake. He also stated that the only fish known to survive in Lake Van are the Pearl Mullet or Darekh.
From CNN in 1997: Sightings of the Lake Van monster were first reported about two years ago, but further evidence was offered on Tuesday: bad quality amateur pictures of something long and dark moving in the middle of the lake.
After each sighting, professional camera crews have rented boats to try to capture the alleged beast clearly on film, but were unsuccessful each time.
The subject became an obsession for 26-year-old Unal Kozak, a Van University teaching assistant who has been talking to eyewitnesses since the first sightings.

Stationing himself at spots where most of the sightings were reported, Kozak says he saw and filmed the so-called monster on three occasions. Kozak also wrote a book on the creature, including drawings of the monster based on the descriptions of some 1,000 witnesses.
He says the creature is about 15 meters (49.5 feet) long. Public opinion is divided over whether the Lake Van monster is a clever hoax to attract visitors to a region that could use some tourist revenue.
The city of Van is in an underdeveloped area of eastern Turkey that for years has lost out to holiday resorts in the west of the country.
The pictures have been sent to Cambridge University for examination, and Jacques Cousteau, the world-famous marine biologist, is expected to visit and examine the lake.

dailytelegraph - A prospector who went to find gold in the hills thinks he may have found something better - evidence that aliens really do exist.
Adam Cainero believes he captured a photograph of an alien spacecraft hovering above an escarpment near Majors Creek, in the Southern Tablelands near Braidwood.
After an unsuccessful weekend fossicking for gold Mr Cainero and a friend were making the long trip home when he stopped to take a snap of the steep mountain they had driven down.
When he got home, Mr Cainero said he realised he had found gold of another kind after all.
"I just took a picture of the mountain range and the sun was in my eyes so I just kind of pointed and shot," Mr Cainero said. "Then we looked at the picture - we were, like, no way."
With its shape and its position in the sky, Mr Cainero said he immediately knew the black object was a UFO.
"We always see really weird things as we go out to places where there is no one around," he said.
There had been talk among fossickers about UFOs being in the area, he said. "A lot of people I know who go into the bush reckon they have seen one," Mr Cainero said.
Earlier this year The Daily Telegraph revealed the suburbs around Gosford, on the Central Coast, were the state's biggest hot spot when it came to UFO sightings, with dozens of cases reported every year. Each month people turn up to meetings to share their UFO experiences.
The region was the scene of one of Australia's most baffling UFO cases - a series of sightings in 1995 and 1996 - reported by police and many other credible witnesses.

Two Maids Jailed, to be Lashed 700 Times for Sorcery
emirates247 - A Saudi court gave heavy jail sentences to two Indonesian housemaids and ordered them lashed 700 times with a whip on charges of practising witchcraft to extort money from their employers, a local daily reported on Monday.
The two maids, aged 33 and 25 years, had used clothes and other personal items to cast a spell on the man and his family in Riyadh since they started working for him nearly three years ago, 'Alyoum' newspaper said.
The court in the Saudi capital was told that the two maids used their magic skills to control the family’s life and drain their employer’s financial resources.
“They also controlled his behaviour and the health of all family members…the family started to look feeble and pale and could not do anything to end their ordeal,” the paper quoted the man’s brother as saying.
“They succeeded in extorting much money from the family to send it to their families in Indonesia. They drained the family financially and physically.”
The paper reported the court sentenced the 33-year-old maid to five years in prison and 500 lashes and the other maid to two years in jail and 200 lashes. It also ordered their deportation after completing their jail terms.

news.com.au - A pair of undergarments that reportedly belonged to the the Queen are set to go under the hammer in America.
The monogrammed item, reminiscent of shorts, reportedly came into the possession of a "famous Miami playboy named 'Baron' Joseph de Bicske Dobronyi" more than 40 years ago, celebrity website TMZ reported.
He received the garment from a friend after it was left on a private plane used when the queen visited Chile in 1968.
After Dobronyi's death in June, his estate began planning to auction off the royal garment which is expected to sell for $9000.
A pair of silk briefs that kept Napoleon Bonaparte warm during his exile on the South Atlantic island of Saint Helena was due to go on sale over the weekend for between €15,000 ($20,000) and €20,000.

Plan for Creationist 'Ark' Park Draws Paleontologists' Ire
sciencemag - Kentucky scientists are slamming Governor Steve Beshear's (D) announcement yesterday that the state is partnering with Answers in Genesis (AIG), a creationism group, to create "Ark Encounter," a park related to Noah's Ark. Replete with what developers call a "full-scale" ark and models of dinosaurs, the $150 million amusement park in Grant County will be a follow-on to AIG's Creation Museum in Petersburg, which opened in 2007.
The governor says the for-profit developers behind the planned park will apply for tax breaks, which could provide up to $37.5 million in savings from the state. Governor Beshear says the park will create 900 jobs for the state. But Daniel Phelps, president of the Kentucky Paleontological Society in Lexington, says the park is "government entanglement with religion" and doesn't make the state attractive to scientists and technically minded individuals. "I don't envision people, especially those with science backgrounds, wanting to move to a state where the 'ark park' has government support," says Phelps, who works as an environmental geologist for the state.

Moonlanding for Croatia in 2012
croatiantimes - Croatia is expected to make its mark on the Moon by the end of 2012 when Astronomical Society Vidulini from Istria plans to launch its space exploration vehicle - rover "Histrohod."
The robotic vehicle is the brainchild of Zeljko Mogorosa who has been working on its prototype for the past two years. "Histrohod" is expected to land at the same spot where Apollo 17 – the latest manned mission to the Moon – landed in 1972.
Through a group of mobile devices, "Histrohod" will send televised segments down to Earth.
"This is a big challenge for our society and we are extremely proud that our association and our small Istria will become a part of space exploration," said the Society’s president Marino Rumpic.
The cost of building "Histrohod" is estimated at 20,000 Euros and is expected to be covered by various donors from around the world.
The Astronomical Society Vidulini started the first Croatian space program (Astronautika) and forms part of the international team Synergy Moon which is participating in the "Google Lunar X Prize" contest.
Martin Vargas Morales, the mayor of Guánica, asked the general population to remain calm and cautious, while at the same time making [UFO contactee] Reinaldo Rios and Canovanas Mayor José “Chemo” Soto responsible for any accident or mishap that may occur on the premises of the old sugar mill during the “gargoyle watch” convened for this evening.
“The site is very dark and is a structure in ruins from which pieces are braking off daily. Neither Rios nor Soto will be able to halt the flow of persons to the interior of the facilities and I fear that an accident may occur, given that the there are easy points of access that cannot be controlled. It’s an irresponsible act by both of them,” said the Mayor in a written statement.
The municipal leader highlighted that there are persons seeking headlines and benefits from exposure in the communications media. “Allegations by people who have supposedly seen strange things in the old mill are taken seriously, but they must be clarified responsibly without creating spectacles that endanger the lives of persons whose curiosity may lead them to the site,” he stated.
A Gargoyle in Puerto Ensenada
Mayor Martin Vargas Morales further noted that he found the subject of alleged apparitions in the sugar mill curious, as they have occurred after the Planning Board approved the Puerto Ensenada project.
“There are people who have stated their reservations about the project. Others know that construction of Puerto Ensenada represents a giant step for our administration, and would not like to see it carried out, with the economic benefits that its construction and operation would bring, creating over 12,000 jobs,” notes Martin Vargas.
Vargas says that project investors are on the planning board and are very interested in transferring their capital to Guánica. “The actions of these two characters will not cause the developers to waver. They will not deteriorate the image of that historic location. The project is a reality that will benefit thousands of families, not only in Guánica but in the entire area.”

The Gargoyle vs. The Chupacabras
A strange creature with wings resembling those of a bat and which has been dubbed “the Gargoyle” has attacked several animals and even a human, according to reports issued by residents of Guánica.
Attacks by the “Gargoyle” resemble those of the mythic Chupacabras to a certain extent, given that it operates under cover of darkness and allegedly exsanguinates its victims.
Some people have identified it with the Chupacabras, yet others believe it is a differnt, elusive and sinister entity whose lair is in Barrio Ensenada, amid the ruins and tunnels of the Guanica Sugar Mill, where the skeletons of its victims can be found.
The Gargoyle’s exploits have gone on for many years, mostly in Guánica, but in Lajas and San Germán as well.
The creature has been seen by people who have opted to avoid making formal complaints to the Police, fearing they’ll be considered mentally disturbed or subjected to scorn. With the exception of one policeman and a schoolteacher who researchers strange phenomena, the other parties involved refused authorization to disclose their names.
A gargoyle is a mythic entity, a mixture of human and bird, represented by stone statues. These are placed on the cornises of cathedrals and other buildings.
A Human Is Attacked
“He was injured in his stomach, his [abdominal] fat could be seen,” noted a witness, describing the injuries suffered by a man on his belly and back, caused as if by “an animal’s claws.”
The witness soberly expalined that the wounded man lifted the t-shirt he put on after the attack, saying that a “large winged” animal took him by surprise in his back yard and attacked him.
The injured party, surnamed Valdo, also spoke to policemen patrolling the area where the attack took place, near Guánica Lagoon, in the mid-1990s.
Police officer Miguel Negrón states that he has not seen what is popularly referred to as the gargoyle, but two months ago, while patrolling the area with another officer near the old Guánica Sugar Mill, he heard the beating of powerful wings, as if something was propelling itself off the zinc roof of one of the mill’s cranes.
Agent Negrón indicated that some describe the gargoyle as a very large bird, emitting a sulfuric or rotten odor. It feeds on live animals like dogs, cats and horses, draining their blood and leaving them dry.
The creature goes forth at night or in the early morning hours, and for this reason there are few sightings. There are no photos or videos of the phenomenon, which attacks healthy animals, unlike a predator that seeks out sick or feeble animals.

Folklorists do know that the underbelly of the city is teeming with all manner of spectres, and a majority of these seem trapped in the London Underground.
The most impressive ghost, or recording in this case, is that of a train which was last observed around the 1920s in the vicinity of South Kensington; whilst on the East Finchley to Wellington underground, legend has it that an old steam train silently travels on through the Northern Line.
Surely a majority of apparitions that are said to stalk the tracks and tunnels are either in limbo as spirits, possibly people who either died down below or simply feel tied there after once being employed.
Workmen, or at least ghostly figures perceived as workmen, have been seen at West Brompton Tube Station, South Kensington, and Vauxhall, with the Vauxhall spectre appearing as a seven-feet tall man in a cap, making for an eerie and imposing sight. Tulse Hill and Stockwell also have their own phantom workmen, whilst stations such as Covent Garden, Lewisham and Farringdon all seem to be haunted by people who were tragically murdered, whilst nuns and monks have been sighted drifting silently through the Bakerloo and Jubilee Line. The monks have been seen as recently as 2000, on a path from Westminster to Stratford. It is believed that ground work had disturbed several graves, or indeed unblocked some dormant portal to the ethereal void.
The spectral girl of Elephant & Castle appears to be a rail relation to the phantom hitchhiker legend, in that several witnesses have described, often whilst sitting in an empty carriage, encountering a young woman who takes a seat but often vanishes between stops. Just like many phantom hitchhiker myths, this particular spook story is vague, but many have heard of her exploits.
Even spookier is the Egyptian phantom said to have once prowled the British Museum station, which closed in 1933. The figure, adorned in head garments and loin cloth, was said to walk a tunnel that allegedly once wound from the station to the Egyptian Room in the museum, although such a passage was allegedly denied by London Underground, especially after two women mysteriously vanished from the Holborn platform that was situated just one stop along from the museum. Bizarrely, during the time of the disappearances, odd yet unspecified marks were found on the walls of the museum station, and eerie moans had often been reported echoing through the cold walls.
London Underground remains one of the capital’s eeriest places, with many a chilled researcher turning down the opportunity to spend a night down there. Are there really lines that go nowhere in particular? And what about the stations built right next to Plague Pits, could such graves be the answer to some of the more sinister ghost sightings? One such pit was allegedly discovered in the late 60s at Green Park with the construction of the Victoria Line, whilst the collapse of a road at Blackheath was also blamed on the disturbance of such a pit.
For the last fifty or more years there has been a sinister legend pertaining to the London Underground that a mysterious, possibly caped figure, lurks in the cold tunnels, and is known for the ghastly act of pushing people in front of oncoming trains, usually at night. Whether this terror is mere rumour we’ll never know, because we do occasionally hear of people splattered on the rails, but whether a phantom killer is roaming the more remote platforms remains unknown.
Another classic urban legend to exist in the passageways beneath the capital emerged during the mid-1800s and remains one of London’s most obscure mysteries, yet echoes a more potent urban myth that has plagued New York’s sewer system since the early 1900s, being the possibility that alligators inhabited the murky waterways and pipe systems, feeding on rats and garbage. In the case of London’s inhabitants, there is a rumour that in 1851 beneath Hampstead, feral pigs, or hogs were prowling the depths of the sewers! Legend has it that a pregnant sow somehow ended up trapped in the gloomy tunnels, giving birth to a happy litter of excrement swilling, offal consuming offspring, even more ferocious than their known relatives that may have inhabited some nearby yard.
Sceptics argued that such animals had never been seen or heard to grunt through the drain grates, but believers in such quirky tales claimed that the reason for this elusive behaviour was simply down to the Fleet ditch, which, once encountered from the mouth of the sewer at the riverside, would have flushed the piggies back to their lair after failed attempts to swim against the rapids. - Londonist
Covent Garden Underground: Late-night Tube riders say they sometimes see a theatrical performer - murdered by a rival in 1897 - standing on the Covent Garden platform. He wears a hat, gray suit and gloves and waits patiently for the train he always took home to Putney. Tube stop: Covent Garden
Theatre Royal Drury Lane: The ghost of an actor slain in 1780 is said to be a frequent performer at the theater. His skeleton - with a knife sticking out of the ribs - was supposedly found during a renovation in the 1970s. Folklore has it that those who see the ghost are destined for theatrical greatness. Newgate Prison site: Progress came to Newgate, one of England's most notorious prisons, in the 18th century in the form of a scaffold invented to hang 12 men at the same time. Among the legends emanating from this sinister place: the snarling Black Dog of Newgate, which appeared whenever executions were to take place. Old Bailey Courthouse now stands on the site. Ten Bells pub: Two of Jack the Ripper's victims were last seen at this East End pub. Mystery still surrounds the true identity of this Victorian-era psychopath, sometimes called the world's first mass-media serial killer. Tube stop: Aldgate East
Route No. 7 Cambridge Gardens: Among the odd ghosts and goblins that haunt London is a wayward double-decker bus. In the mid-1930s, the bright red bus was often seen at the intersection of St. Marks Road and Cambridge Gardens in North Kensington, where the road curves sharply. The bus, which had no passengers or driver, hurtled toward oncoming traffic, forcing cars off the road. Tube stop: Ladbroke Grove
St. Bartholomew the Great: The hospital has a haunted "coffin lift," which began transporting passengers to the basement - regardless of the floor they requested - after a nurse was murdered within. The church has a ghostly monk who prowls it, sometimes appearing at the pulpit, sometimes in the shadows. The area also has a memorial to the Protestant martyrs burned to death nearby during the 16th-century reign of Roman Catholic Mary I, also known as Bloody Mary. Tube stop: Barbican
Kensington Palace: Kensington - home of Princess Diana from 1981 to 1997 - housed a string of famous royals, including 18th-century monarch George II. The song "God Save the King" was written during his reign, but nothing could stop the Grim Reaper when he came for the king in 1760. But before the monarch's death, he could often be seen gazing wistfully out his chamber window. Now, the story goes, his face is often glimpsed there. Tube stop: High Street Kensington
Tower of London: Unspeakable acts of murder and mayhem took place here during the 14th and 15th centuries, when beheadings were commonplace. Among the jail's inmates were Anne Boleyn, queen of England and second wife of Henry VIII. She was beheaded and is said to haunt a Tower residence and the Chapel of St. Peter ad Vincula, where she is buried. Tube stop: Tower Hill
Greyfriars Passage: This alley off Newgate Street leads to the site of an old churchyard burial ground, said to be haunted by two beautiful, murderous women. Queen Isabella was instrumental in having her husband, King Edward II, deposed, imprisoned and brutally murdered in 1327. She was buried with his heart on her breast. Also here is Lady Alice Hungerford, who poisoned her husband. Some say she was hanged; others say she was boiled alive. Tube stop: St. Paul's
telegraph - The retired French electrician who claims Pablo Picasso gave him 271 works of art has told how he travelled six hours across France by train with the canvases and sketches worth at least £50 million stashed in an unlocked suitcase.
Pierre Le Guennec said he kept the vast treasure trove of previously unknown works stored in his garage for almost 40 years before he finally decided to take them to the artist's administrators in Paris to have them authenticated.
The 71-year-old pensioner shocked the art world last week when he revealed Picasso and his wife Jacqueline regularly offered him paintings while he was installing alarm systems and carrying out daily electrical repairs at the artist's south of France homes in the three years until his death in 1973.
He said on one occasion Picasso's wife handed him a cardboard box crammed with sketches and said simply, "Here, this is for you."
But within days of art experts proving the works were genuine, police swooped on Le Guennec and his wife at their home in Mouans Sartoux, near Cannes, in October and arrested them on suspicion of receiving stolen goods.
Police held them both in custody for 24 hours before releasing them without charge, and said an investigation was now under way to establish exactly how the elderly couple came by the paintings.
At his modest, whitewashed villa in the south of France, Mr Le Guennec continued to insist this weekend that he had not stolen the artworks from his former employer.
He said: "I worked for Monsieur and Madame from 1970 to 1973, and for Madame for another three years until 1976 after Monsieur died.
"They both gave me paintings, and on one occasion she gave me a box containing lots of sketches and canvases, perhaps 100 of them, saying 'Here, this is for you.'
"Perhaps they were happy with my work as their electrician and wanted to show their kindness. I don't know.
"I didn't steal them, and am horrified that people think I could of done.
"I didn't really think about what they might be worth. I just put them in a box in the garage and that's where they sat.
"It was only when we were sorting through our things in the summer that I looked through them and thought I'd take them to the Picasso people in Paris and let them know I had them.
"I didn't want my sons arguing over the inheritance and because Picasso was a famous artist I thought they would be better off with his family."
Mr Le Guennec's wife Jacqueline added: "We never intended to sell them, and we wouldn't be living in a house like this if we had intended to make money from these paintings."
The couple's lawyer Evelyne Rees said: "The police thought about charging them with harbouring stolen goods, but they have not done so, because clearly to harbour stolen goods means something must have been stolen. And nothing has been stolen."
Christine Pinault, spokeswoman for Picasso's son Claude, told of the "astonishment" at the Picasso Foundation offices in Paris when Le Guennec arrived with the haul of artworks in a suitcase.
She said: "He made an appointment to come and see us and arrived on September 9 with an unlocked suitcase full of paintings and sketches. We could hardly believe he had simply got on a train with something so valuable.
"He first claimed it was Picasso himself that had given them to him, but he didn't seem to be describe a single occasion when a painting was handed to him.
"When we asked him why he thought Picasso had been so generous, he told us simply that the artist must have thought he deserved them for all his hard work."
Picasso's son Claude and five other relatives of the Spanish-born artist have dismissed Le Guennec's claim that he could have received the paintings as gifts.
Claude Picasso insisted his father would "never" have given such a large quantity of works to anyone.
He told French daily Liberation: "That doesn't stand up. These works were part of his life."
Picasso family lawyer Jean-Jacques Neuer added: "Claude Picasso was astounded. He couldn't believe his eyes.
"Just about everybody has felt that way. When you have 271 Picasso works that were never seen, never inventoried, that's just unprecedented.
"The most important thing is rediscovering important artworks for the good of art history as a whole."
A spokesman for France's Central Office for the Fight against Traffic in Cultural Goods, part of the Interior Ministry, confirmed the paintings had now been seized and were being held in a secure location.
A source told Liberation newspaper: "One mystery among many in this affair is why Mr Le Guennec kept these artworks hidden for such a long time and has only come forward now.
"The works have all been preserved in good condition. They range from notebooks to drawings and completed paintings, including nine cubist paintings which alone are worth some 40 million euros according to experts."
The newly discovered Picassos include a watercolour from his Blue Period, and experts believe nine cubist works in Mr Le Guennec's possession are worth £33 million alone.
Also in the collection are portraits of his first wife Olga, as well as a number of gouaches and lithographs, Liberation reported.

Elephants on Drunken Rampage Kill Three People
guardian - Binge-drinking elephants, drunk on local hooch, have killed three people and destroyed 60 homes in a four-day rampage in east India.
Yesterday they were reported by local officials to be sleeping off hangovers as shocked communities tried to clear the wreckage left by the 70-strong herd in remote villages on the borders of the states of Orissa and West Bengal.
With a local festival approaching, villagers had stockpiled the fermented-rice based drink which is stored in earthenware vessels and, according to Bijay Kumar Panda, a local administrator, the elephants found and drank it.
They then staggered through the surrounding area and began "to fall asleep hither and thither, throwing life completely haywire".
According to the Pioneer newspaper, the "jumbos" are known "for their love of local country-made brews" which they "gulp down and make merry at the expense of the villagers".
Elephant experts say such incidents are becoming more common. With pristine forest increasingly rare, especially in the area where this latest incident occurred, Indian elephants no longer avoid contact with humans, said Dr Amirtharaj Williams, Asian rhino and elephant programme co-ordinator for the World Wildlife Fund. "These herds are effectively semi-urbanised. There are elephants who are getting a taste for food that humans prepare because it is tastier, stronger-smelling and often more nutritious and that includes rice- or molasses-based drinks. Some go looking for it."
Around 400 people are killed each year by elephants in India and nearly a million hectares of farmland damaged.
Around 100 elephants are killed by villagers each year.
India's booming population and economic growth have placed the historic grazing lands of elephants under enormous pressure. To avoid exhausting fodder in one area, the herds migrate. Attempts to create safe corridors for the animals' travel have foundered on bureaucratic sloth and lack of enforcement.
In September seven elephants were killed by a speeding goods train.
Latest estimates put India's elephant population at around 21,000 – the largest in Asia. About half of these are found in north-eastern states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya.

MUFON CMS - Albuquerque, NM - 12/5/2010 - unedited: About 3:45 or 4:00 a.m. on 12/5/2010 I opened the sliding glass door on the north side of our house to let my dogs out to relieve themselves and out of the corner of my right eye I saw a bright white light so I turned to face it and observed what appeared to be a very bright, circular white light above the horizon of the Sandia Mtns. In the background of sky there are in fact two bright yellowish lights that are visible every night; both on the crest of the Sandias and apart from one another and this light was "centered" and above them and the sight of it appeared to be a triangle with the yellow lights of Sandia Crest on the left and the light of the Sandia Peak Tram house on the right forming the "base" of the triangle along the Sandia Crest and the bright light forming the peak of the triangle at the top. I started to dismiss my initial sighting of the light as the moment when an aircraft turned on it's landing lights and I must have seen it as it was moving towards me.... so I waited to see if it would turn toward the south to Albuquerque International or westward to Double Eagle. It seemed peculiar to me that it was taking entirely too long for any "aircraft" to reach me; the night was perfectly quiet, there was no jet engine noise or prop noise, there were no strobe lights or red and green wingtip lights, no automobile noises to muffle the sounds that should have been there. I looked closely at the white light and observed that it seemed to flicker somewhat along the edges and "wobble" side to side and up and down, but it certainly was not getting any closer to my location... it was just up in the sky shining brightly... hovering as it were and then as I watched the light IT WENT OUT! It just vanished completely from my sight! The night was still perfectly quiet and there were no sounds, and there were no strobes or red and green wingtip lights that I could observe, and no competing automobile noises as I listened for some jet engine noise or propellers beating the air like a helicopter or airplane would. There was no sound. I was stumped. I didn't know what I had seen and I certainly couldn't identify it either. As my dogs were coming back in I couldn't help looking toward the Sandia Mountains for one final look and just as suddenly as it had disappeared, it REAPPEARED in the very same area it was before!! Wow!! It was there, I didn't imagine it. Where had it gone and where did it come from? It was now clear to me that there was a very real, very curious event indeed going on and I was a witness to it. I observed the same behavior as before but then as I watched the light rotated from pointing straight toward me to my left and faced to the north. It remained there and looked like a cone. A cone of white light with the smaller end facing south and the wider end facing north. I am not sure how long it remained this way, it got dimmer and bright again and again and as I was observing the "cone" of bright light the entire cone rotated back to it's left and faced westward again. It continued to brighten and dim somewhat for several minutes I started to think it was similar to the lights over Phoenix, but only one light here, and then, as I watched, it just went off like someone flipped a switch; and as I looked at the place where the incredibly bright white light used to be, there was now what appeared to be a glowing "ember" that was colored yellow and grew steadily smaller and smaller until it finally disappeared completely and I saw it no more.

Incidents Around Albuquerque / Manzano Base, NM

This first part wasn't my personal experience, but I was listening to Coast to Coast am on Friday Night when Ian Punnett was hosting Open Lines for George Noory. The first caller, a man named James from 'New Mexico,' (whom I believe was probably from Albuquerque, based on much of what he said he saw), said that a black, rectangular shaped 'aircraft' overflew the Sandia Crest summit from west to east, at the very top of the Sandia Mountain range, which is located in Albuquerque. It then headed out towards Edgewood, a small town on the East side of the Sandia Mountains, approximately 25 miles or so from Albuquerque. At this point, all the power where the TV and radio towers are located on the summit, the Summit Restaurant, and a 'small' residential area, went out for a period of time.
He didn't say anything else, and no one else called in to verify this sighting. So I don't know if anyone saw anything else, or how long the power was out. But I do know that if those towers were without power, then essentially, Albuquerque was without a communication network, since many of the cell phone and other communication-related towers are up on the summit, as well. That's TV, radio, telephone, Internet and Cable at least. EVERYTHING was down for a period of time. No doubt there's redundancy, but that is some powerful equipment, and when they go out, the grid winks out and locks up. I've seen it happen standing on 9 Mile Hill on the West side of Albuquerque when the lights of the entire city winked out one section at a time like a wave. During that particular incident, the WHOLE city was affected. No traffic lights, few back-up power generators (though many more now, which is why the power outage seemed restricted to a 'small' area), and even the hospitals had a difficult time functioning.
I lived in Albuquerque twice, once for 10 years, and later on again for 6 years, so I'm very familiar with the Sandia Mountains and that entire area. I am also aware that the military portion of the Albuquerque Sunport, takes up the section of the runway that abutts the Manzano Mountains and is east of the air traffic control tower.
Although from my understanding, it has always been considered fictitious, at one time there was another Air Force Base at the foot of the Manzano Mountains (though I suspect it's still there, based on the proliferation of sightings, even since it was supposed to have been closed down), south of the Sandias on the south side of Interstate 40 (the old Route 66). My father was stationed at Manzano AFB in 1965, right before he 'retired.' I can assure you it was there, since I was on it several times, and it was supposedly used to house ... various things, including a few top secret programs/projects, one which involved experimental and possibly other types of (i.e. back-engineered) craft. It's now rumored that the Roswell disc or parts of it (including... J-rod) were at various times located in some of the hangers and inside a false mountain at Manzano.
Btw, in case you haven't heard of it, Manzano Air Force Base was located to the East of Sandia Army Base which took up the SW portion of the base from the Wyoming Gate, heading south, and which is located on the North side of all 3 bases, as was Sandia Army Hospital, which has also, since been closed down. Because my father was in the Air Force, we lived in base housing off of Perimeter Drive located on the West side of Sandia Army Base, just south of the Louisiana Gate; our back fence was located to the North of the edge of the military portion of the airport runway from where my mother and I often watched various supposedly top secret military aircraft maneuvers from the early to late evening.
A side note: My mother was also ex-Navy, as well as a cryptographer, though I have no 'official' confirmation that she was with Naval Intelligence, I can only assume that she based what she told me about some being experimental craft, some not from this earth, on many things she and my father were involved were over the years. Regarding what we saw landing and taking-off from the military airport, although It became more difficult to see as the evening wore on, more often than not I COULD see shapes of craft which were either outlined by lights or had other visible means of delineating the silhouettes. Several times I also saw a triangle-shaped craft which appeared black against the evening sky and had a light at each point of the triangle. Again, experimental US military? Back-engineered? Don't know. They didn't say.
Other points of which you may or may not be aware: Sandia National Laboratories and Kirtland Air Force Base are located in Albuquerque. Los Alamos National Labs is located approximately 60 miles to the NW of Albuquerque. Dulce/Archuleta Mesa is located in Northern New Mexico, on the Colorado border. There have always been sightings in New Mexico, especially Albuquerque. I've seen many myself. Just recently a young boy on one of the Native American Reservations near Albuquerque was attacked in a parked car by something he claimed was an alien. Whatever the creature was, it grabbed him, leaving claw marks down the boy's arms. Fortunately, his father and a sibling, I believe, heard him yelling, and showed up just in time to scare the creature off. They don't know what it was, but it wasn't anything they'd ever seen and it appeared reptilian/alien.
Additionally, Albuquerque seems to be the headquarters, or at least very large and critical centers for several military projects, like Project Pegasus, Project Talent and others. MANZANO BASE

The Armed Forces Special Weapons Command constucted two operational sites after World War II. One was known as Site Able, located in the foothills of the Manzano Mountains, just east of Sandia Base. The other base was Site Baker near Kileen, Texas. Construction on Site Able started in 1946, with the first operational facilities activated on 04 April 1950. Although activated in 1950, construction on the major facilities wasn't finished until 1961. On 22 February 1952, Site Able was renamed Manzano Base, and operated by the Air Force, while Site Baker was renamed Kileen Base and turned over to the US Army.
Portions of America's nuclear stockpile was stored in Manzano (the Spanish word for apple) Mountain for 40 years, and nuclear weapons are now secured in a modern underground complex at Kirtland Air Force Base. A presidential emergency relocation center was built deep inside Manzano Mountain as a command post for President Eisenhower. It retained this function until the advent of thermonuclear weapons, by which time it was no longer regarded as a survivable site.
In the early 1700s explorers visiting a small village on the eastern edge of these mountains discovered very old manzanos (apple trees), a tree not native to this country. No one knows where these trees came from, but the name stayed with the region.
Construction began in June 1947, and the facility became operational in April 1950. Under the top-secret project designated Operation Water Supply, construction crews carved out tunnels and blast-proof underground steel vaults to protect the small stockpile of atomic weapons. The first weapons stored at Manzano were the Mark 5, a first-generation atomic device which required assembly. The weapons were stored without plutonium, in reinforced concrete and steel bunkers throughout Manzano. Inside the complex, steel gates protected a hallway containing four chambers guarded with heavy safe door. Each vault stored a protective container called a birdcage, each of which enclosed enough plutonium for a single atomic warhead.
On 11 April 1950 a B-29 aircraft departed from Kirtland Air Force Base [Albuquerque, NM] at 9:38 PM and crashed into a mountain on Manzano Base approximately three minutes later killing the crew of thirteen. Detonators were installed in the bomb on board the aircraft. The bomb case was demolished ans some high explosive (HE) material burned in the gasoline fire. Other pieces of unburned HE were scattered throughout the wreckage. Four spare detonators in their carrying case were recovered undamaged. There were no contamination or recovery problems. The recovered components of the weapon were returned to the Atomic Energy Commission. Both the weapon and the capsule of nuclear material were on board the aircraft but the capsule was not inserted for safety reasons.
The Manzano Nuclear Weapons Storage Area was surrounded by a barbed double-fenceline (one of which was electrified) beyond which the concrete bunker entrances which span the base of the mountain range are visible.
In June 1992, the Manzano WSA was deactivated, including deactivation of the Perimeter Intrusion Detection and Alarm System, and Phillips Laboratory assumed responsibility for its maintenance. SNL continues to provide minimum security, although the Perimeter Intrusion Detection and Alarm System was deactivated with the termination of the main mission in 1992. Some of the old tunnels and vaults in the Manzanos still serve as storage. The Manzano WSA is currently being used in part for storage of a variety of items such as furniture and document boxes.

Six Bodies From Roswell Crash Recovered By Sandia Army Base Team
.....there were two crash sites. One southwest of Corona, New Mexico and the second site at Pelona Peak, south of Datil, New Mexico.
The crash involved two extraterrestrial aircraft. The Corona site was found a day later by an archaeology team. This team reported the crash site to the Lincoln County Sheriff's department. A deputy arrived the next day and summoned a state police officer. One live entity [EBE] was found hiding behind a rock. The entity was given water but declined food. The entity was later transferred to Los Alamos.
The information eventually went to Roswell Army Air Field. The site was examined and all evidence was removed. The bodies were taken to Los Alamos National Laboratory because they had a freezing system that allowed the bodies to remain frozen for research. The craft was taken to Roswell and then onto Wright Field, Ohio.
The second site was not discovered until August 1949 by two ranchers. They reported their findings several days later to the sheriff of Catron County, New Mexico. Because of the remote location, it took the sheriff several days to make his way to the crash site. Once at the site, the sheriff took photographs and then drove back to Datil.
Sandia Army Base, Albuquerque, New Mexico was then notified. A recovery team from Sandia took custody of all evidence, including six bodies. The bodies were taken to Sandia Base, but later transferred to Los Alamos.
The live entity established communications with us and provided us with a location of his home planet. The entity remained alive until 1952, when he died. But before his death, he provided us with a full explanation of the items found inside the two crafts. One item was a communication device. The entity was allowed to make contact with his planet.
Somehow, I never knew this information, but a meeting date was set for April 1964 near Alamogordo New Mexico. The Aliens landed and retrieved the bodies of their dead comrades. Information was exchanged. Communication was in English. The aliens had a translation device.
In 1965, we had an exchange program with the aliens. We carefully selected 12 military personnel; ten men and two women. They were trained, vetted and carefully removed from the military system. The 12 were skilled in various specialities.
Near the northern part of the Nevada Test Site, the aliens landed and the 12 Americans left. One entity was left on Earth. The original plan was for our 12 people to stay 10 years and then return to Earth.
But something went wrong. The 12 remained until 1978, when they were returned to the same location in Nevada. Seven men and one woman returned. Two died on the alien's home planet. Four others decided to remain, according to the returnees. Of the eight that returned, all have died. The last survivor died in 2002.

Large Unknown 'Animal' Attacks Boy
May, 2008 - A 5-year-old boy hiking with his family near Sandia Peak, New Mexico, has survived an attack from an unidentified species of large animal, a spokesman for the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish said Sunday, May 18, 2008.
Bernalillo County Sheriff Darren White said the family was hiking near the popular Balsam Glade area on the Sandia Mountains, when the boy ran ahead of his parents. It happened on the east side of the Sandia Mountains around 7 p.m. Saturday.
A sheriff’s department report identified the boy as Jose Salazar Jr. of Albuqureque, New Mexico.
The boy’s parents saw the animal emerge from the brush and start dragging away their child, White said. The father then chased the animal, which let go of his son.
White said the animal was a mountain lion, but Ross Morgan, a spokesman for Game and Fish, said dogs trained to track mountain lions picked up no scent in the area Saturday night or Sunday.
Officials said they don’t know what kind of animal attacked the boy. They’re looking at the tracks in the area to find out if it was a cougar, mountain lion, or bear.
“The animal had the kid and was dragging him down the side of the hill. When the father jumped over there, the animal ran off,” said Ross Morgan, who works for the Department of Game and Fish.
“The dad described it as a short, stocky, dark brown animal,” Morgan said.
Morgan said hikers in the area Sunday were told about the attack, but the news did not deter them from hiking.
The Department of Game and Fish is warning people to be careful if they’re in the mountains.
Some people visiting the mountains on Sunday said they are aware of the dangers and are prepared for what could come their way.
“We have to expect that we’re going to come across animals,” visitor Rich Weiner said. “We’re in their habitat.”
But others who spend time in the Sandia Mountains, like David Czaplewski, said news of the attack has them shaken up.
“It’s shocking and kind of scary,” Czaplewski said. “We’re making sure we’re keeping track of where everyone is and looking around.”
Officials said everyone who is visiting the mountains should be extra careful, so they don’t become the next victim.
The boy suffered puncture wounds (bite marks) to his head, neck and back. He was in serious condition at University of New Mexico Hospital on Saturday, White said.
A hospital spokeswoman said Sunday the family declined to make the boy’s condition public.
NOTE: it was later determined that this was not a mountain lion attack. There was never a follow up to this incident. New Mexico authorities, as well as local police, have refused to release any information. The victim and his family have also declined to talk. americanchronicle - According to multiple sources on two continents, the US National Security Agency (NSA) is back in -- or, perhaps, never left -- the psychic spy business.
In the mid-1990s, the US Central Intelligence Agency revealed the existence of official paranormal activity -- conducted by the US government -- at the CIA, the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), the US Army, USAF, the Navy, and other organizations.
Declassified documents from the DIA's STAR GATE program include several references to meetings attended by representatives from the NSA, who were interested in paranormal intelligence collection and psychic powers.
Early NSA interest in the paranormal arms race was discovered in a declassified CIA Office of Technical Services Memorandum for the Record from 1975. A few years later -- based upon thousands of STAR GATE files -- the entire Department of Defense Community appears to have been dabbling in paranormal activities, including tests of mind-over-matter psychokinesis-induced damage to electronic circuits and the use of psychic vision, or remote viewing, to collect intelligence on Soviet targets.
Some of the early US Army intelligence (INSCOM) activities involving paranormal intelligence were parodied in the movie adaptation of The Men Who Stare at Goats, inspired by the non-fiction book by British investigative humorist Jon Ronson. Examination of one 1981 INSCOM 'memorandum for the record' reveals that although NSA had been sending unofficial 'observers' to the Department of Defense paranormal program called GRILL FLAME, the Director of NSA requested an additional investigation by an NSA-sponsored committee.
Briefings for the NSA representatives were attended by CIA, DIA, SRI International, INSCOM (Army Intelligence), and Jake Stewart, of the Office of Naval Intelligence. Among those present from NSA were representatives for "Tech Applications & Advancement" and NSA's Scientific Advisory Committee at RAND Corporation.
According to INSCOM notes -- describing a personal briefing for LTG Lincoln Faurer, the Director of the NSA (given at NSA HQ on August 5, 1982) -- the Director stated that NSA's scientific panel had reviewed paranormal phenomena and were attempting to determine whether or not NSA would "cease all interest, pursue the subject within the agency, or join the DoD community."
If current STARstream Research sources are correct, NSA eventually decided to pursue paranormal and psychic intelligence collection deep inside a special compartmentalized or 'black program' within the agency.
According to one NSA source, mind-science research in support of the on-going NSA paranormal program is allegedly conducted at Johns Hopkins University. The alleged involvement of Johns Hopkins has not been confirmed by other sources at this time; however Johns Hopkins University was among the select institutions recommended by Office of Naval Intelligence representative Captain Jake Stewart [1], in a SECRET EYES ONLY report presented to the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering.
Chris Robinson -- a British citizen known for predicting terror attacks -- also claims he had contact with US NSA representatives following a warning he sent to the CIA London Office just prior to 9/11.
Robinson's claimed foreknowledge of the 9/11 events was also confirmed to British television by Professor Gary E.R. Schwartz of the University of Arizona. Schwartz conducted informal tests of Robinson's psychic skills in August 2001.
Robinson's claim of having met with a high level NSA contact was later confirmed by another NSA-related source. According to Robinson, several of the US government representatives he met with following 9/11 were "extremely knowledgeable" about psychic remote viewing.
Based upon the historical record of US government paranormal activity prior to 1995, and the need for exceptional human intelligence collection following the terror events of 9/11, the existence of a compartmentalized NSA-based psychic spy effort cannot be dismissed out-of-hand. Information about previous paranormal programs leaked into the public sector in the 1970s and 1980s. The late Jack Anderson wrote about the DoD psychic spy program for the Washington Post, when it was still considered a national security concern.
STAR GATE documents from the DIA include official US government psychic spy tasking against targets that included terrorists, future terror events and threats, and drug smuggling operations.
An on-going paranormal program at the NSA would likely include tests of material psychokinetic effects; a search for a signal carrier for psychic information (one source claims the NSA considers psychic 'telepathy' to be a valid form of Signals Intelligence, or SIGINT); and operational tasking to collect information on targets of vital interest to the US national security. In addition, NSA would monitor foreign developments in paranormal intelligence and research and their potential impact against sensitive US locations, projects, and persons.
Clairvoyants Seize Economic Crisis in Finland, Worldwide
YLE - The increasingly hectic pace of life has sent people searching for answers. Uncertainty triggered by the tough economic climate is fostering a market—and demand—for fortune tellers and soothsayers.
A job ad for a clairvoyant was recently posted on the employment website of the city of Oulu. Within a week, some 200 people applied for the position.
Skepsis, an association encouraging impartial scientific investigation into claims of paranormal phenomena, says human nature hasn’t changed much despite advances in education and technology.
“People are perhaps seeking simpler solutions to their problems. Today’s world is perhaps too complex for some,” says Juha Vuorio, a spokesman for Skepsis.
He adds that the pace of change today is quicker than at any other time in human history.
According to Vuorio, people posing as clairvoyants are generally empathetic, allowing them to tune in to the mindset of the other party.

I myself have been dealing with a sudden haunting that started on August 17th. I have to apologize in advance for the length of this post. There are just so many details and I want to give you as much information as I can. I have to start off by mentioning that we have never been interested in this topic and do not even watch movie's on the topic or read about it. This has always been a very big fear of mine. Maybe too many stupid scary movie's as a kid, don't know, but we are completely new to all of this.
My Husband and I moved into our new town house over 2 years ago with no problems. Our house was a model home and we purchased a lot of the furnishings with the house. We now have a one year old daughter. It all started with me seeing something floating around her on her baby monitor one afternoon. It was definitely a small white circular shadow and it glowed at night. It was only in the room when my daughter was sleeping and we only saw this on the monitor for 1 day. I completely lost it when we realized it was some sort of spirit energy or orb floating around her and we decided to video tape it. Once we started doing that, it never came back on the baby monitor. However, this started everything that happened over the last few months.
We started taking photographs and noticed various orbs in almost every photograph. I have hundreds of pictures. My daughter was suddenly frightened of the closet and would wake up screaming every night at exactly 3am. I had a very uncomfortable feeling in the house. This lasted a few weeks and I very sternly told the spirits to leave in the name of Jesus Christ and they seemed to leave that night, only to return stronger the next day. During this time, our TV would turn on and off multiple times a day, my Husband's computer would crash at exactly 9am every morning, my electric fireplace turned on by itself, a picture frame flew off the counter and we would hear knocking on our bedroom ceiling at night. I even once heard knocks at our front door in the middle of the night, from our 3rd floor bedroom! The list goes on and on. Someone suggested that we try to sage the house next. I did that and they left and came back even stronger. My Husband and I discussed calling a medium to come to the house. He was completely on board to do whatever we had to do. I found a local medium to come to the house that evening. When I went home to tell my Husband she was coming, he was suddenly outraged and demanded that she not come to the house. He was even punching himself in the head and walls in the house out of anger. He has NEVER acted in this manner and has no recollection of the event. I knew it wasn't him but was frightened and left the house to give him time to settle. When I returned about 20 minutes later, he was calmer and sitting on the couch with the TV off just staring at the wall. This was still bizarre behaviour, but by the time she arrived, he snapped out of it but looked and acted like he had been drinking the entire day. He did not have a sip of alcohol that day or night. Very bizarre. I knew that it wasn't him and that something did not want the medium there. When she arrived, she told us there were a few earthbound spirits at the house. She suggested I tell them to go into the light and talk to them, which I did. The medium also mentioned that she saw a dark shadow over my Husband and felt that something "wanted him out of the house". This frightened us and we needed to take immediate action and contact a more experienced medium. The woman we spoke to on the phone said that she saw the shadow over my Husband and that whatever was in him was not human and has never walked this Earth. She said that it is going after him because he is the strongest in the house. She then said she would virtually enter our house and take a look. She said that she walked through the front door and there was a large mirror to the left and a staircase to the right. This was correct and completely baffled us! She asked where the mirror came from and said it was a portal and had to go. The mirror was very old and we bought it with the house. She suggested we get a professional house cleansing immediately.
We then had a team come out and cleanse the house that week, the last week of September. During the cleansing there was a shaman journey on my Husband in which 3 entities were removed and destroyed. I have to also mention that a few weeks earlier, I tried a Christian ritual in my Daughter's room with two others and my Husband was in the other room working. The ritual was unsuccessful, as there were still orbs everywhere after we finished. We went in to tell my Husband what we had just done and he said that he just got finished vomiting. He said that he was fine one second, then had a sudden urge to run to the bathroom and vomit several times. He was unaware of what we were doing in the other room. This struck me the wrong way immediately, but I didn't really think it could have been related. Then, when we did the sage ritual, my Husband vomited the entire night. He said that the sage smell made him sick and he couldn't get the scent off of him. I thought it smelled nice, but just figured he had a weird reaction to it. Again, I thought it could be related but was in denial. Below is what the medium described she removed from him during the journey:
"One was now just leftover energy, like a goop, left in his stomach since he puked most of it out by the time we arrived. The next entity was inside his head that I pulled out from the top (the crown chakra if you will). That entity looked like the gremlins from the movie, but also covered in black goop. The last one was the one latched onto the middle of his spine. This one looked like a chameleon with a rounded head, like a sphere instead of a head or a face. And obviously, both those I threw into the candle fire to destroy them."
We then continued with the sage ritual after the entities were removed from my Husband and he liked the smell and did not get sick! We also created the light that night and I was told 6 earthbound spirits went into it. We had to get rid of a mirror, which we were told was a portal. My Daughter was also suddenly afraid of my Husband throughout the summer. She would immediate cry and turn to me when he would try to hold her and never go to him. I thought he was just working too much and never thought it was related. Well, she immediately returned to herself with him that night and loves to sit with him and play with him again. That was proof enough for me that something was in fact in my Husband and that my Daughter could see it. My daughter started to sleep again with no problems. Then we had a priest come to bless the house for an extra precaution. Everything seemed to be OK. Then a few weeks ago it all started again. We have orbs back everywhere, a strange dark pink object floating in pictures from another mirror and my Daughter is up again screaming in the middle of the night. A few weeks ago, a cup flew off the counter top and rolled across the room. There was no one in the room and no fan or open windows for this to happen. I waited a few minutes and went into the room and smelled a sudden scent of foul odour and dirt. This never happened before, so I took a picture of the area and there was a very dark shadow covering the wall. It disappeared in the next photograph. I am hearing the knocking again in our bathroom in the middle of the night and a few nights ago my Daughter's play piano was played at 4am and it woke me up. There were a few keys being played at the same time and it lasted about 10 seconds. It definitely got my attention. The pink object is now pictured in every mirror in the house and now seems to be on me in every picture. It is very dark pink, like a magenta and very bright and vivid. Does it sound like there is something attached to me now and why is it only seen in the mirrors? Does this signify something?
I am now at my the end of my rope and do not know what to do. Could we be dealing with Indian energy? I have to add that we are located in Southern New Jersey and I have recently found out that there were many tribes in this area and my development was just finishing construction this summer. Not sure if it is just a coincidence. Not sure why this would all suddenly happen out of no where. We also have a cell phone tower basically in the back yard. It's located about a 1/10 of a mile away.
I have been trying my best to ignore all of these things that are happening again and trying not to take pictures. Some people say to ignore it and others say never to ignore it. I am just very confused and don't know where else to turn! I just don't want to risk my Husband getting an attachment again or let anything harm our family. Please let me know your thoughts on what we were told was happening in our house. Is there anything we can do to finally clear our house? Does it sound like whatever is here is attached to the house or us? Thanks in advance for any advice!! Again, I apologize for the extremely long post!!

From Lon Strickler: Irene and I conducted a remote view on this case today (Thursday, 12/2/10).
Irene set the target coordinates for me and monitored the session. We systematically executed 5 phases in order to perceive the target and to gather as much information possible.
In Phase 1, the coordinates (a set of two - four digit numbers) were given to me...from which an ideogram (a graphic symbol that represents an idea or concept) was developed. The target was narrowed down to an open area with structures and people. By probing the ideogram, 'descriptors' (the function of describing) were used to determine the nature of the target. Several attempts with the same target coordinates were done in order to get a average assessment.
In Phase 2, the target vignette was narrowed by probing for sounds, textures, temperatures, colors, luminescence, contrast and smells. Through this information I was able to focus in on any verticals, horizontals, diagonals, topography, mass and energetics as well as my overall 'feeling' of the target.
In Phase 3, I made a rough sketch or drawing of what I was perceiving. At this point, the sketch included a gathering area (Native American encampment) that included people, dwellings and a long vertical pole. I also sensed a waterway nearby.
In Phase 4, I went into a deeper perception of the target. This included sense, magnitudes, emotions, physicals, subspace and concepts. There were other specifics used...but at this point there was no systematic procedure because the observations are starting to come together into a primary deduction.
The overall impression was that there was a group of Native Americans who had been through a very traumatic period, including a smallpox outbreak that killed many. There seemed to be other problems because the leader of this group (seemed to be the leader...though I would not describe him as a chief) thought that he and his people were cursed. I noticed this leader bury a small object during a ritual in order to alleviate the curse.
In phase 5, a timeline was established...Point A being the current time of the target and Point B and C previous significant events that occurred at the target.
This eventually resulted in my observation of an execution of what I believe to have been a British soldier (wore a redcoat) by this group of Native Americans. I sensed that this soldier was tied by his feet, hung upside down to the pole and burned alive. Not long after, a platoon of British soldiers killed many of the renegade group and moved the remainder to another location. (After reading the many references provided to me after the RV, I think that these soldiers may have been either Dutch or militia. I sensed red coats and assumed these were British troops...but the period seems to be mid to late 1600's, a period of early colonization in this area. These indigenous people also made and used a vast variety of smaller objects in the rituals and daily life...much more than I had realized before I read the material.)
The house haunting in question seems to have been the result of these events. I believe that the object (unknown what it is) that was buried by the leader is either in or near this house....specifically, this object was moved from it original location.
As a result of subspace perception, there are 2 entities that are tied to and now separated from this object. The first spirit takes the shape of an unusually large dog and roams the area outside the home. The other spirit is that of a small humanoid or imp...very dark in color and very mischievous. I also sensed that the heart or main area of the activity is the kitchen. (This entity, which we called an 'imp' or 'impish' just as a description, is really a dark astral spirit that is much less dangerous than a similar earth bound entity. I guess you could describe it as a 'familiar' that is intent on finding the object. I wouldn't be surprised that there are other residents in the neighborhood with similar phenomena...the spirit may simply realized that what it's looking for is not there and decide to move on.)
Irene and I don't feel that these entities are dangerous but are annoying in their quest to find the object. This coincides with information that the client told us after the remote view was conducted.
