Photos: Monster Hog Killed in Southeast Texas




I was sent photos of a 1,800+ lb. wild boar shot and killed in Conroe, Texas near the Montgomery County Airport, East of I-45. It seems these photos were taken around the holidays. I don't know if this is a record or just a damn big hog. I posted an article sometime back that referenced how many states are being overrun by these hybrid hogs.

UPDATE: I have had several readers forward information that these photos were not from Conroe, Texas and were mostly likely taken in Turkey. There is also a question of authenticity. I have forwarded this information to the submitter...Lon

I have seen this on several other blog sites. I believe it is an urban legend. Would be neat if it was a real pig. That' a lot of bacon.

I hope it is fake-if not,the thought of killing such a creature should be a crime(if it does or actually ever has existed)

How should killing it be a crime? They are an invasive species.
