Photo: Trail Camera 5/26/09 - Sierra National Forest

(Copyright - David Raygoza)I received these images from the SangerParanormalSociety.com Sunday with the following note:
Please look top left hand corner. You need to zoom in. Feel free to crop it and clean it up or go to my web site where its already cleaned up. If you use the picture on this email, please put on there Copyright David Raygoza. He is a BFRO investigator who was with me and this picture is his property. We are going back this Wednesday to take measurements of the tree and see if there are any tracks or hair samples. I am also going to stand in the same place and have a picture taken. This is not a bear. Look how long the arms are. They go past the knees. Also, the face looks more human than bear. Jeffrey Gonzalez
NOTE: I'm not going to comment on these images at this time. The images were from a motion sensored trail camera in the Sierra National Forest...image dated 5/26/2009 at 12:13 PM. The camera was retrieved June 7th 2009 at an undisclosed location. Hopefully, further evidence and followup information will be forwarded to me...Lon

I don't see anything except a large opening in the bottom of what looks to be either a cedar or fir tree, with drooping branches. Is the sender suggesting that the darkened image where the bark splits at the bottom of the trunk's opening is the body? The head looks to be branches and foliage. I'm definately no skeptic, because I do believe in the beloved BFT, but I just see this all the time on my hikes in North Bend and Snoqualmie Valley WA in the Pacific Northwest. Most trees that get to be that wide have huge splits at the base.
It would have been "Helpful" to have posted a picture of the same frame "Without" the whatever it is that is supposed to be there.
I went to the web site you suggested and there isn't one there either.
Seems to me, this would be a "no brainer" if you were attempting to show something had appeared in the camera frame.
Love this blog
....I have been told that Jeff and David are going back and investigate the area. Remember, this was done on one of their trail cameras and the images were observed at another location...Lon
It could be a bear or Old Hairy. It doesn't look like a digital artifact or a camera malfunction. David isn't the type to hoax.
