Photo: Images in Light Beams at House of Cenote, Tulum

I received this email today with an interesting photo attachment. Let me know what you think after looking at the image. The following is the unedited email:

You may be interested in the manifestation of Mayan spirits captured in the attached photo I took on December 31st, 2008 at the House of Cenote in Tulum. It was taken in a north east direction at approximately 2 PM. The photo is untouched and is still in my digital camera.

In addition to the light beams, when you look at the blow-up of the photo, you will see numerous images of animals, human faces and strange figures. I have no explanation for these images, but I do believe that they capture the energy of the Mayan spirits and are possibly a sign for the upcoming 2012. There are many figures in the light beams, either descending or ascending. Could you offer an interpretation?
