Romanian Bigfoot or Hoax?
"Photos taken Friday, February 8th 2008, in Romania, Vrancea Mountains. A tall strange humanoid crossing the road...that's what I saw."
Apparently, the man who spotted this 'thing' has provided his name and contact information.
Frankly, it looks like someone in a suit or a figurine. The photography seems to be questionable as well..possibly made to look larger than it actually is.

I have to agree that the photos seem to be of a doll or action figure set up in a diorama. If you look closely at the branch the "creature" is holding in the fist shot, it is broken more like a twig snapped off a tree than a if a small tree was broken. The hill side in the second shot also seems to be part of a model, using grass or other plant-matter to simulate roots sicking out the top of a hill. Also the "creature" is out of focus in both shots, but other elements of the photos are tack sharp. Even an amateur photographer should have been able to get a better focused shot (especially in the first picture), which leads me to believe both are staged so the "creature" is purposefully out of focus. As much as I would love for these shots to be real, I am going to have to say they are a hoax.

I agree with you about the branch. But I've been in Romania, the Vrancea mountains - the roots sticking out: the ground looks like that everywhere. There are mountains, not hills- rock underneath, not much of dirt on top. It's hard to judge by the photos. I'd like to see a movie or something, maybe other photos. Somebody must have caught it on camera if the thing is around.
