Elk River, Minnesota UFO Report

(from HometownSource.com) - On Nov. 2 at 2:37 a.m., police took a report after a complainant and girlfriend observed what they described as a unidentified flying object, or UFO, in the eastern sky.

They said is was jelly fish shaped and displaying alternating blue, green and red lights. It was also alternating between moving back and forth and hovering in one spot.

An officer responded to the residence on the 11000 block of 200th Avenue Northwest. The report said both parties were not intoxicated or in need of medical attention.

The officer observed the object they were looking at and it appeared to be an unusually bright star or visible planet.

Later, dispatch called the Princeton Airport for a possible radar contact, but they did not have the capability to do so. Airport personnel referred dispatch to the national UFO reporting hot line, which said star named “Sirius” was visible in the eastern sky approximately 30 degrees off the horizon.

The officer advised the complainant of this information, who was still convinced it was a UFO.
